Bargehouse undergoes yet another magical transformation, this time into an Earth-based embassy for a ‘Republic of the Moon’  – filled with artists’ fantastical imaginings.

40 years after the first moon landings, a group of artists are declaring a Republic of the Moon, re-examining the relationship we have with our planet’s only natural satellite.

Featuring works by Liliane Lijn, Leonid Tishkov, Katie Paterson, Agnes Meyer-Brandis, WE COLONISED THE MOON and other amazing artists.

London Short Film Festival: New Shorts #4 Short Longes | Hackney Attic | 3pm | £6

A relaxed afternoon of longer-form drama shorts, including new work from comedian Josie Long, and the hit sci-fi epic Hereafter starring Lydia Wilson (Misfits).

Plus, from 8pm, there’s a soundtrack-heavy club night led by Stanley Schtinter, with music from forgotten films and all the cinematic classics, with stunning visuals as a backdrop.
