Head to Somerset House for a feast of Diana, philanthropy and colourful flowers.

Fleurs de Villes DIANA in support of The Diana Award | Until 6 October | From £18 + bkg fee

Fleur De Villes creates stunning floral exhibitions around the world, bringing flower-powered magic to majestic houses like Eltham Palace (back in 2024) and now Somerset House. The founders Tina Barkley and Karen Marshall weave a beautiful show together, working in partnership with incredible floral artists and venue partners worldwide.

This latest London edition is themed around celebrating the philanthropic work of Diana, and its legacy through the exhibition’s charity partner The Diana Award. Room after room casts a spell, channeling the spirited magic of Diana through gorgeous floral installations(with flowers mainly supplied by local SE London wholesaler Tom Brown). Pretty much every design is a wow moment, but a highlight is definitely Cloud Hill Flowers‘ majestic, defiant and powerfully purple Diana, channelling Diana Ross’ Stop in the Name of Love’ pose.

The concept allows for an impressive exhibition of floral art from independent florists and floral studios of the UK. These artisans – who are often underrepresented at such large expensive events such as the Chelsea Flower Show (in spite of the name, it’s mainly garden design at Chelsea) – are rightfully celebrated in all their glory.

Tickets are on the pricey side at £30+ for an adult, but it’s worth it if you love flowers and/or Diana, and want to support the work of The Diana Award.
