To Do List is thrilled to promote ün-establishment, a free event series from Kopparberg, which is hitting London from this Saturday. ün-establishment celebrates DIY culture and showcases the UK’s finest convention-prodding talent through a series of FREE workshops, exhibitions, screenings and talks.

To Do List highlights include: a chance to learn how to make your own GIF; an introduction to Viking Chess; Grandma Lo-Fi’s eccentric story; a guide to making your own pothole garden; and much more.

Doodle-Bombing with Hattie Stewart | Saturday, October 20 | 2pm

Hattie Stewart is a cult East London-based illustrator – not only will she be live-doodling on the windows, she will also run ‘doodle-bombing’ workshops where people can create their own designs alongside her.

An introduction to this unique game also known as Viking Chess! Meet at the ün-establishment at 2pm to be taken off for an afternoon of Kubb & Kopparberg.

At the tender age of 70 she started recording and releasing her own music straight from the living room. 7 years later she had 59 albums to her name with more than 600 songs – an eccentric myriad of catchy compositions mixing in her pets, found toys, kitchen percussion and Casio keyboards.

Part art project, part labour of love, part experiment, part mission to highlight how shit our roads are. The Pothole Gardener will take you on a field trip to create your own pothole gardens.

Margot is the creative director of The Estethica Review (published with the British Fashion Council), as well as ongoing projects with Notion and AnOther Magazine. She will be hosting a unique GIF workshop.

Margot has an endless number of clients, here are a few that she has worked with: Alexander McQueen, Dazed & Confused, Kipling, Links of London, Urban Outfitters and Topshop. She works with a range of mediums such as animation, book design, branding, clothing, DJing and photography.

Super/Collider is a not-for-profit collective which explores science through culture. For ün-establishment, they will be hosting a RISOgraph printing workshop, using science textbooks and imagery help you create prints on the spot.

A panel discussion hosted by Crack, with Steve Watson (founder of Stack Magazines and publisher at The Church of London), Dylan Jones (ex editor of i.D and The Face) and Hanna Hanra (founder and editor of The Beat and formerly P.i.X).
