Loserville To Do List – February – Part Two

Happy Valentine’s Day! We’re clearly feeling amorous in part 2 of Loserville’s guide to February. We feature: horrifically bad stripper film, porn star opera, mummies, new music, trannies, sexual nature and Kath & Kim.

Week 3

Wed 16: ‘Showgirls’ at Deptford Film Club | Birds Nest, Deptford | £3

DFC asks: ‘Is it a feminist classic or a misogynist nightmare? Is it sexy or grotesque? Who knows? Imagine Burlesque + A Star is Born + Ziegfield Follies + cocaine + titties, multiplied by a billion.” Starring Jessie from Saved by the Bell as a raving …we love this film a little too much, even if it is dreadful.

Thu 17: British Museum Late: The Book of the Dead | British Museum | Free

We love late night mummy-fueled museum fun! This one includes performances from Periplum, a super theatre company whose shows are explosive, film installations, Egyptian dance, storytelling and other crafty shiz. Plus we’re assuming you can have a bevvy!
