You really can’t pretend you don’t know what to expect – the title really says it all (except how fabulous it is)!

If all learning experiences were like this, no student would ever skip class. Timberlina – “the world’s No.1 ecological bearded drag lady” – delivers a throughly engrossing, embracing hour of gentle audience interaction, piano noodling, felt-tip doodling and – YES – education about the margins and frontiers of the world.

Liminality has never felt this alive! Timberlina has done the reading, and shares insights into the fizzing energy that resides at and around the sometimes fuzzy, sometimes sharp edges. But learning new stuff can be so exhausting, and Timberlina knows to make this experience fun as well as mind-expanding. There’s no reason that intellectual curiosity can’t go hand in hand with silliness and creativity (and silly creativity at that). So it’s a joy to be give space to pick up a few felt-tip pens and doodle away on a collective piece of edge-art as Timberlina noodles away at the piano.

Part lecture, part cathartic self-care with a gentle, caring host – this is cabaret with heart and brains aplenty.
