A Secret Escape From the Hustle & Bustle of London Life
Located one hundred feet above Kensington High Street, The Roof Gardens were the dream of Trevor Bowen, who employed landscape architect Ralph Hancock to realise his vision of a magical garden space above Derry and Tom’s department store.
There are three themed gardens, with full-size trees, a flowing stream, and resident flamingos Bill, Ben, Splosh and Pecks. Yes, REAL FLAMINGOS!
Richard Branson bought this idyllic space, and kept it free to the public! Three cheers for RB!

All this room needs is a harem!
Re-enact your favourite Game of Thrones scenes (you’ll need to bring your own Diana Rigg)!
Green is the new grey!
Admittedly, this looks a bit like a posh golf course clubhouse…
Here’s the unassuming entrance…
The stars of the show! Bill, Ben, Splosh & Pecks (in no particular order)…
