If you think your average rush hour commute is horrific wait ’til you see the horror that’s arriving in London!
We’ve discovered that London is a city full of fright, with these two offbeat treats coming your way…
We gave the arty Hellscreen at the VAULT Festival & the zombie-tastic The Generation of Z three short paragraphs to scare us sh*tless – and then we’ll pass judgement on the accused![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Hellscreen | Vault Festival | 25 Feb – 8 Mar | 8pm/3.30pm Sat Mat | £16.50
They Say: HELLSCREEN is a hugely exciting production that you will definitely not want to miss! From the moment you walk through the doors, be on alert–you will never know whats waiting around the corner for you. All I can say is prepare yourself for the unexpected!
HELLSCREEN blurs the lines between so many different art forms–combining animation, film, music, immersive design and theatre. Both a playful and fright-filled production, we’re pulling out all the stops to give the audience a really unique experience of the macabre.
A few tidbits to whet your appetite: at the forefront of this faustian tale are real-life horrors drawn from court transcripts of true crimes in Britain over the past three years. You’ll see that there is nothing more disturbing than what happens just around the corner from your pleasant lives. In this show you’ll also see the acclaimed cabaret performer Jonny Woo take on a completely new type of role in HELLSCREEN as a confrontational contemporary artist. I think audiences will love to watch his descent into hellish levels of obsession.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The Generation of Z | Secret location near Whitechapel | 4 April-5 July | £25
They Say: It is 2015. London has fallen. The deadly Z virus is transforming the global population into a rabid horde of the infected. With societal structure collapsing, humanity is faced with a desperate battle for survival.
The Generation of Z is the immersive live experience that puts you squarely into the dark heart of a zombie massacre.
With chaos unfolding around you, prepare to be thrust into your very own action movie, where your choices directly influence the show’s narrative and outcome. Forget sitting down; this is multimedia storytelling on steroids, with no fourth wall and no interval. Every choice is life or death and survival is in your hands.
WARNING: This is a promenade performance containing moments of extreme shock and tension, realistic depictions of gore and violence, and loud noises. Not suitable for those under 16 years old.
