Sound&Fury’s Going Dark | Science Museum | 5-9 March | £20
The Science Museum hosts an immersive theatre experience combining sound and darkness (eep!) which promises to (re)awaken our wonder at the universe we live in – BOOK NOW
The Story: Max is the narrator at the city’s Planetarium where, thanks to his interest in astronomy, he is the perfect guide for the audiences, wowing them with some of the mysteries of stars and science. However, when his own life takes an unexpected turn, Max discovers that understanding the universe requires a different kind of vision.
They Say: Following two sold out runs at the Young Vic in 2011 and 2012, Sound&Fury bring their innovative theatre vocabulary of immersive surround sound design, total blackout and imaginative lighting to the Science Museum, to reawaken our wonder at the cosmos and reveal how one man’s vision becomes illuminated by darkness.
