We love theatre in the round and are excited to see theatre company Paines Plough taking over Shoreditch Town Hall to create a 360° season of new writing future classics.

The three extraordinary new plays by three rising star playwrights are to be performed by a single ensemble of actors in the new 360 degree setting.
The plays chosen to realise the new pop-up venue’s vision are:

An edgy, harrowing & hilarious tale of a couple’s decision to have a child in a world of global anxiety, terrorism, erratic weather and political unrest.
‘The Sound of Heavy Rain’ by Penelope Skinner | 19th September-27th October 2012 | Times Vary | Tickets £20
A gripping mystery thriller, which follows secretary Maggie Brown as she tries to discover where her friend, Foxie O’Hara (a cabaret performer) has disappeared to.
‘One Day When We Were Young’ by Nick Payne | 19th September-27th October 2012 | Times Vary | Tickets £20
A new play about the impact of World War II on an ordinary couple and a love that spans more than 60 years.
