Cantina | May 8 – September 30 | Various Times | £10 – £15
EastEnd Cabaret | July 26 | 9:30pm | £12.50
To Do List favourites, EastEnd Cabaret combine accordions with risque comedy – ’nuff said. Be prepared – as they say, “you have nothing to lose but your chains… and your innocence”.
A disco inferno starring Hercules and Love affair and featuring guest vocalists John Grant and Antony. Also, the UK premiere of Louisiana bounce sensation Sissy Nobby.
Boom Boom Club: Prospero’s Tavern | July 19 – August 4 | £25
Welcome to the boozer at the end of the world, where flotsam and jetsam gather to tell tall tales of times gone by. Kaleidoscopic cabaret featuring a revolving cast and live rock’n’roll soundtrack. Spectacular circus, heart-breaking song, and surreal comedy rub shoulders at the party which never, ever ends.
I am Joint Editor at To Do List. I like: nice pubs, film marathons, not doing real marathons, bad comedy, plays/musicals with shorter second halves, and the Oxford comma.
