Oktoberfest in London – Top Picks from To Do List

First let’s start with some Oktoberfest Musik to get us in the mood for a drink.

Oktoberfest at London Fields Brewery | Saturday 5th October | Free

London Fields Brewery celebrates Oktoberfest with a cockney knees-up style, expect LOADS of beer as well as Lederhosen galore, live bands and DJ’s, sausages, sauerkraut & sing-alongs, barrel rolling races, beer raffles and HAHA.

Bodo’s Schloss | Until 5 October  | Kensington High Street

The German extravaganza of a venue’s Oktoberfest includes extra Heidi’s, a special Oktoberfest menu, live music every night of the week, a stall selling everything you need for the 2 week festive period like whistles, badges, gingerbread heart cookies and more beer then you can wish for!

Oktoberfest Pub | Until Christmas | Fulham Road

Do you dare to take The Lumberjack’s Double Knuckle Challenge? Two slow roasted knuckles served on a bed of chips and a side of sauerkraut. Oh, and a stein of  Löwenbräu lager. If you master the challenge, without any assistance, you’ll be rewarded with a stein glass to take home and a place on the Wall of Fame!

Kurz & Lang | Open All Week | Farringdon

If you haven’t tasted these supreme sausages get on down to Farringdon and try these beasts with yummy sauerkraut and a cold Oktoberfest beer.

Bavarian Beerhouse | Until October 26 | Old Street & Tower Hill

Offering live Oompah music played at your table – be prepared for a sing-along. Expect ice cold and freshly tapped German beers served in huge Stein glasses, accompanied by authentic and imported German food such as sausages and pork shanks.

Bierschenke | 26-28 September & 4-6 October | Essex Street, off the Strand

Enjoy the brass and sing a long to the Bavarian Strollers, a first class oompah band, while you stuff your face & chug a hefty pint.

And if you’ve got no imagination, or just happen to be wandering around Kennington Park (September 19-22 & 26-29) or Milwall Park (October 3-6), check out London Oktoberfest!
