Mark Silcox: Women Only at Edinburgh Fringe ★★★★
★★★★ Mark Silcox: Women Only | PBH’s Free Fringe @ Voodoo Rooms | Aug 11-27 | 1:40pm
Impossible-to-describe deadpan delivery that is impossible not to love!

Mark Silcox is a true fringe legend. He plays weirdo characters on TV shows like Man Like Mobeen, and his persona isn’t a persona: it’s just him and it’s irresistible! His delivery is painfully/brilliantly slow, in a strong, characterful Indian accent, and proves teachers can be very funny indeed.
Mark delivers a quirky PowerPoint presentation on the three archetypes he has ‘discovered’: strong men, weak men and women! It is hilarious, with astute observation mixed up in a surreal salad of oddity.
From science bits – including describing complex processes like meiosis, and delving into the science behind biological sex – to madcap moments, the show is a chance for Silcox to be at his most deliciously silly.
