This summer the space is being turned into a floating oasis of flora and fauna promising a programme of live music, experiential supperclubs, literary salons, immersive theatre, creative workshops and talks, transforming the Jetty into a hub of creativity and wellbeing.
One of our summer homes away from home, London Wonderground, is back wowing the crowds on the Southbank with an amazing programme of cabaret, comedy, circus and MORE! And even if you don’t feel like being entertained, you can eat and drink in the beautiful, Coney Island-style bar area.
Model Market | Lewisham | Friday & Saturday until 4 October | 5pm – 1am | FREE Before 7pm (£3 After)
Lewisham might not necessarily be known for its hip culinary delights, but Street Feast’s summer popup, Model Market, made a big splash last year and returns for 2015. Located in an abandoned 1950s indoor and outdoor market just off Lewisham High Street, expect fantastic street food, cracking drinks, great music and the usual wonderful crowd.
Oval House have teamed up with Behind This Wall to turn their much-loved outdoor space into a “daytime work space, lunch-spot, terrace bar and evening BBQ”. There’s also a growing programme of events including terrace film nights, voga classes, busker jam & open-deck sessions, vinyl markets, and record store residencies.
The summer incarnation of Night Tales brings together fine food, experimental bar culture and nightlife. If you’re felling swish, book a cabana, a bungalow, or even the treehouse (you might need some friends to help you pay!).
