Tell us about your favourite secret/offbeat places in London (food, going out, entertainment, relaxation)?

My favourite place to hideout in London was Princi or Bob Bob Ricard but is now firmly Dean Street Townhouse. I J’adore it deeply there. Quality cuisine, service, furnishings and lovely lighting. Dahvoon. (That’s gay for divine)

What offbeat events are on your To Do List in the next month or so?

The next month holds an unrelenting schedule. In one breath… Go; Finish with La Soiree in Chicago, fly back to rehearsals on the 7th of August, new costume fittings/making, one night to Edinburgh to see Up and Over it, Myra Dubois, Scottee, Jonny Woo, Amy Lame, Eastend Cabaret, Bourgeois & Maurice if I can fit them all in. Open at the Menier Chocolate Factory on the 13th – 28th of August with a possibility of extending with or without which i’ll be flying to Sydney Opera House 10th September to play there with my show from the 15th – 23rd. Home on the 24th. Phew. Crazy.

What are your favourite things to do for free or little money in London?

Love just hanging out at the Southbank especially with lots of friends playing the London Wonderground and on little money- opera! Went to the Royal Opera House for £5 to see Peter Grimes and it was extraordinary.

What’s your ultimate London confession?

My vices are perfume and taxis. In one day alone, I spent £315 on taxis…Not a very exciting confession just a tad extreme.

What event or product of your own would you like to pimp on To Do List?

Le Gateau Chocolat at the Menier Chocolate Factory. My full show finally debuts at home. And i’m excited and petrified but excited! Ha. Just come. Tickets here.
