We’re so excited to let you know about the very first It’s All Happening festival! A day of folk music, acoustic indie, original art, craft, spoken word, performance poetry and film – headlining is the wonderfully deft and delicate Alessi’s Ark.
As well as a whole host of new and upcoming artists with top quality music, there will be performances from the much hyped creator of ‘fuzz folk’ (My Band’s Better Than Your Band) Soulmates Never Die, warm and melodic tunes courtesy of The Cooling Pearls, and lively yet sultry set from the magical Anja McCloskey. There will be spoken word from The Ruby Kid humorous poetry from Joshua Seigal, as well as Philip Kanes story telling, great tunes from Actions, the soothing sounds of Sugardrum, indie from Markus Pattern (think Tom Waits if he was Beck), cool grunge courtesy of Larissa, as well as a whole host of other acts, art installations, craft, poetry, a market and film screenings. Basically a day of all the best stuff!
Limited number of Early Bird Tickets at £8 available (Just 20 when we last checked) in advance.
Alongside the mix of solo artists strumming in the garden, bands captivating the cafe throughout the day and evening, and entertaining and enrapturing spoken word in the chapel, will be a craft market, delicious array of food and drink, a photography and art exhibition, and tunes to get you in the mood to dance til dawn.
