Harry Blake, composer of Rhinegold at the Yard Theatre, shares his To Do List

Harry Blake is composer for Rhinegold, a retelling by LIVEARTSHOW of the first part of Wagner’s Ring Cycle, featuring techno, dance and maybe even some karaoke…

It’s the big debut tonight at The Yard Theatre in Hackney Wick and we’ll be there, so follow us on Twitter for our thoughts (and you don’t have to pay us a penny for them!).

Tell us about your favourite secret/offbeat places in London (food, going out, entertainment, relaxation)?

We’re very fond of the pig ear and whelk salad at Gourmet San on Bethnal Green Road.

What offbeat events are on your To Do List in the next month or so?

We like a night out at Vogue Fabrics in Dalston, especially when Legendary Children are playing.

What are your favourite things to do for free or little money in London?

On our last LIVEARTSHOW away day we took a guided tour of the Grand Masonic Lodge in Holborn.

What’s your ultimate London confession?

Alan lives in Cardiff.

What event or product of your own would you like to pimp on To Do List?

Rhinegold at The Yard in Hackney. It’s an hour long reworking of Wagner’s Ring Cycle, with dance, karaoke and more. Come on down. Until June 30. Book tickets here

ps. While you’re at the Yard why not check out Ben Hopper’s supremely ace exhibition.
