Glam Slam – London’s most glamourous poetry slam tomorrow at the Book Club
This sounds ace!
London’s Most Glamorous Poetry Slam!
Following 3 fierce & successful instalments (2008-2010), Ernesto Sarezale brings the GLAM SLAM back to The Book Club in Shoreditch!
…Inspired by Emanuel Xavier’s fabulous ‘vogue ball’-cum-‘poetry slams’ hosted annually in Manhattan for a decade (1998-2008).
…in 2010 we are joined by Emanuel Xavier himself, all the way from the US of A to join a fantastic international lineup:
from NYC, USA: EMANUEL XAVIER (founder of the original Glam Slam!)
from Scotland: CHRIS YOUNG (winner of last year’s Glam Slam!)
from N. Ireland: CAT BROGAN (in her Glam Slam debut!)
MC: Ernesto Sarezale (Velvet Tongue, In the Name of the Flesh)
DJ: Sina Evil (Club Sensible, Pie&Mash)
Glamorous assistant: Marcus Reeves
Door whore: Bob Henderson
