Future Shorts Japan is coming back to London’s Bush Theatre with a plethora (yes, plethora) of award-winning cutting-edge short films collected from USA, UK, Kenya, Sweden, and Czech Republic. Head along to immerse yourself in this quirky world of short films in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

One of the highlights will be Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner Fishing Without Nets (Kenya, 2010) – a “surreal, humorous love story, and fascinating story of Somalia pirates.”
There’s also the colourful animation Marcel, King of Tervuren (USA, 2012), Woodstock Film Festival Jury Prize Winner We’re Leaving (USA, 2011), documentary-cum-horror film The S from Hell (USA, 2010), surreal coming-of-age short Candy Girl (UK, 2012), humorous love story Lovebirds (Czech Republic, 2010) and Seeds of the Fall (Sweden, 2009) from oscar nominated director Patrik Eklund.
