The New Floating Cinema

The Floating Cinema, a unique floating structure designed by Duggan Morris Architects, is on the hunt for twelve ‘Extra-Ordinary’ East Londoners to give their personal East End tour live on board the boat on 24 August 2013.

The twelve ‘Extra-Ordinary’ Londoners selected from entrants to the ‘My East London’ competition, will form part of a floating tour broadcast live on the Floating Cinema website on 24 August 2013 and featured in a short film. The Extra-Ordinary events programme, devised by Hackney based artists Nina Pope and Karen Guthrie (Somewhere.org.uk), will spotlight the overlooked and ordinary in everyday life and bring to the fore the brilliance to be found on our doorstep.
