Free Falconry Display at Somerset House as part of Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore!
This Saturday, Enjoy a Free Falconry Display at Somerset House to Celebrate Isabella Blow’s Passion For Birds of Prey!
The UK’s leading falconry course and display centre, The Hawking Centre, occupies the Somerset House courtyard on Saturday afternoon for a display of beautiful/scary birds of prey, including hawks, eagles and falcons.
This free falconry display at Somerset House coincides with the major exhibition Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore!, a celebration of the extraordinary life and wardrobe of the late British patron of fashion and art.
Isabella had a passion for birds of prey, and organised falconry lessons on the grounds of her country house for close friend and protégé Alexander McQueen,
Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore! continues until March 2nd, and features film screenings and perfume masterclasses. The exhibition is open 10am – 6pm daily and until 9pm on Thursdays, at the Embankment Galleries, Somerset House.
