To Do List Daily: Museum of Brands – Sat 12 March
Museum of Brands | 111-117 Lancaster Road | Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-6pm // Sunday 11am-5pm | £3-£7.50
One of our favourite museums in London, the Museum of Brands, Packaging & Advertising, has relocated to a new location just a 2-minute walk from Ladbroke Grove tube station!
A charity dedicated to educating and entertaining the public on how branding and packaging permeates our lives, the Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising has relocated and expanded into a new Ladbroke Grove location, with more exhibition space to display the thousands of examples of historic and contemporary household packaging, toys, magazines, newspapers, technology, travel, fashion and design!
They Say: ‘We’re proud to unveil the new Museum of Brands. With increasing visitor numbers, the new space has provided the opportunity to vastly improve the visitor experience and to present a brand new way of understanding British culture and lifestyle since the Industrial Revolution. With such a mass of material, it enables a variety of subjects to be put into context.’
After perusing this incredible display of brands, packaging and advertising both familiar and surprising, make sure to check out the new Museum café and garden for a quiet escape from the bustle of Portobello Road!

I am Joint Editor at To Do List. I like: nice pubs, film marathons, not doing real marathons, bad comedy, plays/musicals with shorter second halves, and the Oxford comma.
