Escape The Concrete Jungle With Countryside Live
Countryside Live @ Waterworks Nature Reserve (Leyton) | September 29 & 30 | 10am – 5pm | £4 (Free for kids)
The countryside comes to town!
We love a bit of farm action! And when we’re promised falconry, sheep dogs, ferret racing and – wait for it – a dancing sheep show, there’s no holding us back!
So if you fancy a bit of an escape from the city life, just for a day and without having to travel too far, Countryside Live is for you!
Roll along to Leyton for a range of traditional countryside activities try out, including willow weaving, corndolly making and wood turning. And of course, the animals: sheep, goats, ponies and calves, rabbits, guinea pigs and tortoises, bats and (our favourites) otters!
We’re not sure what the mini-beast challenge, but you can give that a try too.
Check out their ‘How to find us’ page for directions, transport links and parking information, and click here for a full list of exhibitors and the arena programme.
