Butler’s Wharf Blackout – Candlelit Dining by the River, Part of the Thames Festival 2013
Embrace your romantic (and possibly spooky side) with the Butler’s Wharf Blackout – 10 nights of candlelit dining by the Thames…
As part of the Thames Festival, D&D London‘s Butler’s Wharf restaurant collective – Butler’s Wharf Chophouse, Le Pont de La Tour, Cantina del Ponte and Blueprint Café – invite you to enjoy dinner by the river sans electricity…
They Say: “Every evening from the 6th – 15th September, these four restaurants will be participating in the Butler’s Wharf Blackout by switching off their electricity at 8.30PM. Diners will experience the unique opportunity to view the beauty of the river by darkness and will enjoy candlelight dining and drinking sessions late into the evening.
Butler’s Wharf Blackout will be a celebration of the history of the Thames: engaging both in its ancient mystery and the changing modern landscape.”
There’s More!
If you want your candlelit dining jazzed up a bit more, there’s also a calendar of special events from Blind Wine Tasting, to Ghost Bus Tours, to a Fire and Flambé night!
