We had a ball at the underground Mafia den that is Bunga Bunga Covent Garden!

Bunga Bunga Covent Garden | 167 Drury Lane, Covent Garden

We really underestimated how much fun and interactivity there would be during our evening at Bunga Bunga Covent Garden, led by a team of effortlessly engaging performers and waiters. From the tasty food served by attentive waiters to the electric atmosphere and outré entertainment right next to our table, everyone and everything came together for a jaunty jamboree of cheeky fun.

Here are five reasons we had a great night:

1. The grand entrance

As grand entrances should be, it was both grand and, indisputably, an entrance. The stairs are one thing, the meat locker quite another. Leave reality at the door (or in the ground floor bar) – right from the off, you now you’re in for a very different dining experience…

2. The entertainment

Look, if you’re not comfortable chomping through pizza all the while in danger of getting a face-full of gyrating acrobat, this might not be for you. But if you’re a fun-loving character who enjoys top-class gyrations, mind-bending magic, cheeky crooning and the chance to burst out of your seat for a communal Bunga Bunga sing-and-dance-a-long, you’ll be one very happy customer.

3. The Pizza

Our pizza for six, a rectangular yard (and more) of simple yet spot-on cheesy, crispy goodness, was wolfed down at a speed representative not of the portion size  (plenty) but of the tastiness! While it’s not true to say that you can’t go wrong with pizza, it’s definitely true to say that Bunga Bunga has got it spot on.

4. The surprises

Bunga Bunga Covent Garden Toilet

If you’re a fan of understatement, you might want to prepare yourself with a few cocktails – Bunga Bunga is no stranger to extravagance. Even a trip to the toilet is eye-opening (not like that!)…

5. The service

Bunga Bunga Covent Garden Waitress

All of the above is just fine and dandy, but it would all be let down if the staff couldn’t care less about you or your experience. Thankfully, Bunga Bunga is a complete 360-degree triumph – everything is done well by people who know what they’re doing and want you to have a great time. That goes for everyone from the waiting staff to the performers, the house-band and everyone else that make Bunga Bunga an unmatched and unmissable London dining experience![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
