On Friday 4th March, Ballad Of… will be hosting another art – drenched party at Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes, to share some of our best new finds – the Brand New Art We Heart ♥. Join the affair at Shoreditch’s finest venue, and dance holes in your soles to an eclectic mix of party tunes. Indulge in an outstanding soundscape, and immerse yourself in the art-ful atmosphere. Oh, and how could we forget, Ballad Cocktails will of course be free-flowing all night. Join Ballad Of… at this ever exciting venue to witness a hauntingly beautiful set from London’s very own Revere. Expect perfectly integrated rock and orchestral sounds that will send shivers down your spine….
Followed, as always by Ballad’s very own resident DJs, Ballad Djs, new pop and party classics ; expect everything from Glasser to Tears for Fears and Whitney Houston. To get shimmying around the dance floor , our very own resident Djs are going to throw out the best in retro pop and new indie. Having DJed at Camp, Dalston Superstore and Jaguar Shoes previously, we’ve honed a perfect party play list for you!! As if this wasn’t enough, guests Twat Boutique play an eclectic mix of no wave, cold wave, garage rock, electro ,mutant disco and disco-punk for fun times. A mix of underground party tracks and lost classics, these Twats have been throwing packed out parties at Dalston Superstore for over a year now and join us at Jaguar Shoes.
Back by deafeningly popular demand is I am an octopus and his handpicked team of illustrators. We’ve done the walls, we’ve done your faces, and this time they will be producing unique T-shirts, LIVE.

Ballad Of….. is the product of two nothern Art geeks based in their South London flat finding, publishing and drooling over art we heart. Lindsey and Claire met studying photography at Blackpool, moved to London and awash with access to a range of exciting creativity decided to produce their own magazine and online exhibition space for brand new, emerging artists – if they love it, if its fresh and new, they publish it both in print and daily on their site and facebook. Sharing a whole heap of amazing talent from art, fashion, photography, styling, music and everything inbetween alongisde witty and honest opinions and daily diary updates.
