3 Things to do on and after International Women’s Day in London
At To Do List we’re proud to support women on International Women’s Day and all year round as well as many other underrepresented people in our society.
Here’s some suggestions for International Women’s Day (8 March 2017) and beyond. Please do get in touch if you have any suggestions…
1. Unite with other women at #SHECAN on the day itself
#SHECAN | Wed 8 Mar | Bhavan Centre | 18:15 | £3-5
Thanks to Chika Okeke (International Women’s Peace Group regional manager) for sharing this event.
The night includes: incredible acts – ranging from beatboxing to dance, from spoken word to song, and interviews with inspirational VIP guests who all have a heart for peace work!
2. Get a Free Drink at The Exhibit in Balham
To celebrate International Women’s Day The Exhibit are giving all women a drink on us. Treat yourself to a G+T between 5pm and 9pm. They may regret it!
* 1 drink per woman / t&c’s apply
3. Pay for some music for a change and get the awesome LOUD WOMEN compilation
Support Women’s Aid and buy this awesome earworm filled album. With classic pop-punk songs like ‘Nandos’ by The Wimmins Institute and ‘DIY’ by Dream Nails , we’ve had it on repeat for weeks now!

I am Joint Editor at To Do List. I like free, cheap & offbeat London, especially: cabaret, art, theatre, pop-ups, eating out, quirky films, museums, day trips, social enterprise & much more.
