3 Free Spectacular Show Streams to Cheer Up The Worst Christmas Ever
Get your biggest screen and bassiest Bluetooth speaker ready for Kinky Boots, National Theatre’s Dick Whittington, & The White Plague.
1. Kinky Boots
Sadly, the Northampton drag queen epic feel-good musical is only free for 48 hours, until 7pm on 20 December – but after that you should be able to watch on Broadway HD!
2. Dick Whittington at National Theatre
We were lucky enough to see the show live and in person, and it truly is a triumph for postmodern pantomime. We fell in love with sensational future star Lawrence Hodgson-Mullings‘ Dick and the incredible kooky ensemble including bonkers Queen Rat and a refreshing queer dame, Sarah. With fantastic and relevant numbers and cheeky 2020 London humour, we can’t recommend it enough. It streams from 3pm London time on 23 December through to midnight on 27 December 2020.
3. The White Plague
Ferodo Bridges CIC, Greenwich Theatre, Camberley Theatre, The Spring (Havant), Cranleigh Arts Centre, Landor Space and English Theatre Berlin | International Performing Arts Center present ‘The White Plague’: a 5 star epic in an innovative binaural form that can be enjoyed from home for FREE with just a pair of headphones.
